Stylised Reclining Figure in Terracotta, Framed

About the Item

A tall, narrow composition built from a few sweeping calligraphic curves: a stylised female form arches from the top of the panel, her head and shoulder rendered as a swelling coral and cream mass, then tapers into a long dark tail that coils into a spiral at the base. The palette is restricted to terracotta, rust, coral, cream and a soft teal accent on a sand-coloured ground, with the drawing carried by confident charcoal contours. The support has a visible woven texture, giving the flat colours a canvas-like grain. Presented under glass with a cream mat and a thin black inner border. Medium: reproduction print on textured board or canvas-textured paper. Condition: No visible damage; mat and glass are clean apart from a ceiling-light reflection in the detail shots.
