About the Item

MON SCHIO. A pale ladder climbs the centre of the sheet past a large mottled gold disc and a cobalt-blue sphere marked with a fine constellation, while a red-capped chequered post stands at the base. Crescents in silver and gold sweep across the upper third and a rose-red circle is outlined at the right. The ground is a soft plum and rose wash over bronze speckle, the whole held together by thin ruled lines and drawn arcs. Third in the numbered series; pencil signed, titled and numbered in the bottom margin. Medium: serigraph or lithograph on paper. Signed lower centre margin, in pencil, reading "MON SCHIO". Edition: 9/450. Inscribed on the reverse or mount: MON SCHIO; SKY LORE III; 9/450. Condition: Sheet clean and bright with no visible foxing. Reflections on the glass in the angled views; frame in good condition.
