A three-masted ship flying the American flag lies alongside a wharf stacked with barrels, sacks and crates, while dockworkers, carts and a steam tug fill the middle ground. A second vessel and a smoking stack close the horizon. Signed in pencil in the lower margin. Dark moulding with a gilt lip and a white mat. Medium: offset or giclee reproduction on paper. Signed lower right of the sheet, in pencil. Inscribed on the reverse or mount: pencil signature and a date at the lower right of the sheet, not legible at this resolution.
