Large Abstract Composition in Ochre and Blue, Signed, Framed

About the Item

A square abstract built from stacked rectangular fields in burnt orange, ochre, cream and deep indigo, cut through by a broad pale arc that sweeps from the lower left to the upper right. The surface imitates weathered plaster or fresco, with scratched calligraphic marks, small circles and ruled lines drifting across the blocks. Warm earth tones dominate, with a cool violet-blue wedge and a slate-blue band at the right giving the composition its counterweight. Presented with a very wide white mat inside a broad brushed champagne-silver frame under glass. Medium: giclee or offset reproduction on textured paper. Signed lower left of the image, in yellow. Condition: No damage visible; heavy overhead-light glare on the glass in every shot, so the surface could not be fully inspected.
